This is a superb opportunity for a qualified accountant to progress their career, taking responsibility for the delivery of accounting services to a portfolio of clients.

Xebra Accounting is an award winning, modern accountancy practice, specialising in working with owner managed businesses using cloud accounting (Xero) and technology (such as Receipt Bank) to help clients with their bookkeeping and accountancy needs, making it quicker, simpler and more efficient, enabling us to spend more time with clients helping them achieve their personal and business financial goals.

Bookkeeping and accounting work is completed within the team you will be supervising, and we seek a practical, hands on person to review this work, getting involved as necessary with the completion of the work, whilst also being the primary point of contact for the client.  Personal and business tax knowledge would be advantageous.  As a forward thinking practice, we too promote business advisory services and encourage goal setting, budgets and management accounts to measure performance, and regular communications and meetings to review, improve and grow the business.

We are looking for someone with a natural flair for numbers, a passion to help clients, and the enthusiasm and personality to talk with them.  We expect the successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, but will be open to applications demonstrating the required skills.  Strong interpersonal skills are emphasised, along with a positive attitude and a willingness to think outside the box to embrace the many changes currently going on within the accountancy profession.

Naturally we will provide training on the software we use, and also support and training for the business development and advisory services we are providing and continue to develop.

To apply, please email lorraine@xebraaccounting.co.uk , briefly setting out why you would like to be considered for the role, attaching your cv setting out your education, employment history, interests and the skills you can bring to the position.
